Hotel Balmoral (Paris)

If you’ve seen any photos of Paris, then you know they have the prettiest balconies. I fell in love with Hotel Balmoral (6, rue du General Lanrezac) because of their spacious rooms and amazing views. As you can see, the wrought-iron balconies allow for amazing views and really shows off what Paris is really about.

This hotel is in the perfect location for anyone who wants to be close to the airport, Arc de Triomphe, and Champs Elysées. It is located on a quiet street and only a 5 minute walk from Arc de Triomphe and Champs Elysées — 2 must see spots when you are in Paris!

The staff were all very welcoming and helpful. Just a note as this may be inconvenient for some people, you will have to hand in your key card to the front desk every time you leave the hotel and then retrieve it once you come back to the hotel. The WiFi is very fast and I had no complaints – we all know how important WiFi is while travelling!

I stayed in the Balcony suite – it features a double bed, carpeting, blush curtains, and double balcony. This is by far the most spacious room I have ever stayed in while I was in Paris. It really helps when you have a lot of luggage, haha! The ensuite bathroom is a treat, because of the double sinks and a towel warmer for those chilly days. The hotel room reminds me of a Parisian apartment. It’s cozy, spacious, yet elegant.

I highly recommend this hotel for travellers who want to stay in a central area. I walked to the Eiffel Tower from Hotel Balmoral and it was a scenic 25 minute walk. The hotel is located on a small street so it is very quiet at night.
