La Maison Favart (Paris)

During the last 2 days of my Paris trip, I stayed at La Maison Favart. This was by far my favorite hotel in terms of location. It was surrounded by amazing restaurants, tourist attractions, and shopping areas. The Louvre and Palais Royal were only a 20-30 minute walk away and Galeries Lafayette was also nearby. There is even a Michelin Star Japanese restaurant (Sanukiya) within walking distance of the hotel. The food was affordable, delicious, and heartwarming on a cold day.

La Maison Favart feels like a home instead of a hotel. The rooms are decorated beautifully with inspiration from the 18th century. The wallpaper is gorgeous and beautiful against the furniture within the room. There are splashes of colour in each room and a distinctive decoration style for each room. Each room is truly a work of art.

My room had a balcony overlooking the Opéra Comique. The amazing architecture of the opera is breathtaking and makes for the perfect morning view. The hotel is located on a quiet street so there is peace and quiet during the day and night.

The rooms are quite small in terms of size, but they feel very cozy. I had a tough time laying out my suitcases in the room, so just be careful of that. However, the bathroom was very spacious and had all of the amenities for a comfortable stay.

Overall, I had a great stay at La Maison Favart and would be delighted to go back on a future trip to Paris. The staff were all very nice and accommodating. I cannot say enough things about the location! It is just so convenient.
