Vegas Baby! Caesars Palace Review (Las Vegas)

What do Canadians do when winter arrives and temperatures drop? They escape the cold by travelling to somewhere warm!

Earlier this month, my friends and I flew down to Las Vegas for a fun girls getaway. Caesars Palace was kind enough to host us and we were definitely spoiled! Caesars Palace is one of my favourite properties. This was my 4th time going to Las Vegas and my second time staying at this hotel.

Everyone knows that all the entertainment and fun happens on the Las Vegas Strip. Caesars Palace is situated right in the middle of the strip and is walking distance to various attractions. This is a beautiful property and has amazing architecture. It is a spectacular tribute to Rome – complete with high columns and marble everywhere. The opulent entrance is spectacular and is a must see if you go to Vegas. It’s over the top, grande, and gives you a feeling of luxury. There’s full size replications of Michelangelo’s David, Caesar, and iconic fountains from Italy on the property.

We happened to be there during Lunar New Year so the decor was beautiful – the entire hotel was filled with red lanterns and flower trees. It was super festive and a fun way to celebrate the festive season. There are 3 types of rooms at Caesars Palace: deluxe, suites, and villas. We stayed in a deluxe room that was newly renovated. There are modern touches throughout the entire room. The front desk staff was amazing and got us an interconnecting room – perfect for a group of friends!

I shared a room with a friend so when we saw that the bathroom had a double sink vanity – we were sold! Furthermore, the stone and glass details in the bathroom were exquisite. The space was very spacious and made getting ready a breeze. The queen beds allowed us to sleep soundly every night. One of the best hotel beds I have slept on.

Our first night there, we went to Omnia. I am a huge fan of this night club and best part is.. it’s right inside Caesars Palace. This meant that it was only a quick walk from our room… how convenient!! It is my favorite nightclub in all of Vegas. The space is amazing and DJs are beyond amazing.

If you are in the mood of shopping, The Forum Shops is the place for you! There’s a ton of luxury and designer shops and you can shop til you drop. The Forum Shops is easily accessible and does not require any walking outdoors.

If you are a foodie, then there’s so many options for you at Caesars Palace. They just opened Gordon Ramsay Hell’s Kitchen restaurant. If you are a fan of the show, then this restaurant is the place for you! It’s almost an exact replica of the restaurant on the show… right down to red team and blue team decor. Furthermore, there is the famous Nobu restaurant. The food at Nobu is beyond amazing. Their omakase set menu is the way to go. Not to mention, Guy Savoy Restaurant, Searsucker, Mr Chow, Pronto by Giada, and Bobby Flay’s Mesa Grill. Last but not least… Bacchanal buffet! I am a huge fan of buffets in Vegas because it is amazing how much variety they have – there is food from all over the world. Bacchanal buffet is one of the highest rated buffets in Vegas and for good reason! The food is organized based on regions around the world. I got to try a bit of everything. Favourites included egg tarts, poke bowls, crab legs, and wagyu beef.

Even though it was winter, we decided to check out the pool area as Caesars Palace is known for their amazing pools. The Garden of the Gods Pool Oasis is a collection of pools – where you can swim, sunbathe, and sip on delicious cocktails. Unfortunately the pool was closed due to the cold weather but it is still an amazing sight to see. The high columns and marble made everything seem so grande and luxe.

One of our favourite experiences in Vegas was having a wine flight at Pronto by Giada. It’s inside Caesars Palace and it’s the cutest spot for a glass (or 3) of wine and charcuterie. Everyone received 3 glasses of wine that paired well with the charcuterie board. It was such an enjoyable experience

If you are in Las Vegas, I highly recommend you staying at Caesars Palace. Even if it’s just for one night, it is an amazing experience.
